I am just wondering if the maxi-jet 1200 pump has adequete pressure for a whitewater, I am having leak problems with my via aqua and want to use this spare I have had lying around until I can afford a major pump upgrade.

It should do fine for a temp solution. If you do use it you should let us know if your temps move. I have considered using that configuration before and it would interest me considerably.

It should work fine even at low flow rates. It still has better performance than most blocks when compared at the same low flow rate. It's just that it works more efficienctly (lower C/W) at higher flow rates.

If you spend 3 bucks on RTV sealant at walmart, you can keep your via aqua leak free :)

I ran my old via for a year leak free with better barbs and pvc cement to seal it, I may reseal it if my temps go higher with the maxi-jet, just wanted to give it a try since I have had it so long.
