i can't seem to find what type of cpu i have... i'd like to get the voltage trick to up it to about 1.85v i tried ocinside.de and still couldn't find it.

it's an old athlon 950mhz chip.

AO950AMT3B
ASHHA0137MPHYY
K0093520199

i unlocked it using the pencil trick but since i can't figure out the pencil trick for the voltage mod, it doesn't go past 1066 without locking up.

i have 750mhz durons that go 1000mhz using the voltage short trick and air cooling. with the durons, there are 5 contacts to short for the voltage mod, this athlon only has 4 contacts in the same place. the centre contact is missing.

btw, cooler is a heavy all copper sink with a 70mm 6000+ rpm fan.
i think its a volcano 7+ model.

There should be 5 L7 bridges, and one single bridge in the middle is cut, connect it with a pencil and you get 1.85v.
you got an ASHHA "k" Tbird, unless its 0037, that seems to be like a very new chip.

that's the problem... there are only 4. (2 on the left of an empty space and 2 on the right) the contact in the middle is not visible. it's just not there.. btw, i'm pretty sure about the code numbers... all 4 visible contacts have been shorted... any idea why the 3rd is missing?

found the problem. the empty space in between the supposed to be 5 contacts wasn't really empty. there were 2 tiny metal contacts (about the size of the sharp end of a pin), 1 was almost invisible to the naked eye. carbon shorted it and got about 1.88v according to the bios monitor. though the only improvement i got in o/cing the little sucker was a 0.5 mult. increase.
