I found a Savage 2000 on eBay for 10 bucks. It is said to be working. Is this a good buy?

What do you plan to use it for? I used to have the lower clocked 32m version and its fine for everything expect recent games.

If it works, $10 is a steal for a backup vid card. I don't know any specs of it but I know it'll at least play games, if not super fast.

That is a excellent deal but Driver support for it is basically gone. So as long as you are using Win2k or back you are fine.

S3 have released a final set of reference drivers for all S3 cards. its dated newer then the Diamond drivers and solves fairly much most problems. Oh, Counterstrike dont play under 2k

I hate my savage4 card their are no good drivers for it. I can play Max payne if it does not lock up..... I used the drivers that they used in the game and the game still locks up after awhile. I'm waiting for my geforce.
