Install OS on the raptor raid, and get another SATA HD as 2nd HD.

i was thinking of running xp pro on 3rd sata drive and running games and other applications on the raid array with the 2 wd raptors? what do you all think or should i just run the 2 wd with operating system and just get a 3rd drive down the road for back up?
I run dual raptors for my winxp , and a wd 120gig with pata to sata adapter and im soon gettting another 120giger and using another adapter i got so i will have a 240gig storage partition and a 73 gig fast partition, btw xp doesnt even make one pass when its @ the loading screen :)

I would use those Raptors as your system partition and also for your games.

Get the third now for your important data and savegames in case by overclocking you upset that RAID 0 array.

Run your applications, games, and operating system on the raptors. You have about 70gbs of space in the raptors and you might as well take advantage of the speed. Use a spare harddrive to backup data or as a storage drive.
