Hello,

I am new to overclocking and i purchased a BFG 5700 Ultra. I have seen alot of threads about changing the bios of the 5900 to the new 5950. I am woundering if i can changet he bios of the 5700 to someting else to make it better? If so what do i change it to. I have seen the pages on How to Flash the Video card.

I am just woundering thanks for your time.

You already have the highest model of that series, nothing else to change it too?

That is a good card, so just Overclock it if you feel the need for more speed, laterz!

Thanks for the quick reply football. It is overclocked allready i am just not pussing it really hard yet waiting for UPS to deliver my water block for it. And i seen a few post on makeing it a Quardo? What will the Quardo do if anyting at all to it?

It's not to give you an advantage in games, that's for sure!

quadro is for a business, that does a lot a 3d designing. But as far as a gamer goes, not worth it at all. Don't mess your card up man. If you wanted more, then you should have gotten a 5900.

Might want to look at this thread.......Someone said something about opengl is 1000000000 faster, lol!

Just ask there, and maybe you will find your answer. I stand by it, not worth messing the card up.

Then again here, it says you can achieve better game play.....Notice it's a opengl game. Hell, that's most of all I do play.

most of the games i play include counter strike, waiting for the new condition zero, and ut 2004. If it does not make that much of a difference i dont see the need to mess with it. Ill post on those pages and see what i get. Thanks for all the help
