Hi.
Has anyone tried the 120*120*38mm DELTA 190cfm 60db fan, and/or the 60*60*38mm DELTA 50cfm 55db fAN?
Im trying to look for a place to get these but Im having trouble finding someone that sells them.
Thanks.

Seeing as how I actually value my ears, no I haven't. Those are some bloody loud fans! *60* decible rating? When rated at 45 or so the reality is about 65-70...so what do you think those would be?

This is getting scary! The stereo I used to have in my last Mustang hit 130db in competition, which isn't incredible by any means (won me a trophy), with the windows closed it made your hair move and felt cool, but closing in on 60db with ONE fan is crazy since it is a constant sound, unlike a stereo!

yeah, if you go to the delta site, they have specifications of several different fans. My problem is not so much with the noise but trying to find someplace to get them! Does anybody know of a good fan dealer or delta fan retailer?

No thanks. I don't want my computer to sound like a jet engine. :p

I have 7 of the 120X120X38 45db fans in my system but if you are creative enough, the sound can be drastically reduced.

Assuming knowledge to build baffles like you have, yes, it can. Personally, I'll stick with water. :)
