Polyblock?
It looks like plastic, with a copper bottom. I was going to get it for show, since you can see the moving water, but I am unsure whether it will cool well or at all.
Any opinions or experiances welcome
Thanks-

ive heard bad things about the effectiveness but Ive never tried one. If your going for show go ahead and get it but if you want to have performance instead of a riced out computer get a dangerden block.

I have been somewhat interested in this block, as well. Specifically, I am intrigued by the possibilities of the Silver Poly Block. If you decide to order.. please post your results.

35 bucks??? My entire bong (and 'block) only cost me 45! I think with a little imagination, and a short trip to the local hardware store you fellas can build something just as good or better. The block to me, doesn't seem to have any special features -even the inner chamber seems to have been milled and drilled out of ease and doesn't impart that 'whrilpool' effect I've seen in one type of 'block (inlet and exit is perpendicular to bottom surface rather than tangential to the circular walls).

I really don't see how that would hiner the performance. I don't see any reason why it would'nt perform the same as any other copper waterblock? The block looks to be the same size as your average socket style block. I'ts just mounted in some thick acrylick plexy or something. As long as the water going thru it carries the heat away it should work fine.

Yes but I have a 1.2Ghz Bird that will fry if that thing doesn't cool right, SO looks are one thing, a new processor is a totally different story....

Heck maybe Ill just try it. Its only 35 bucks.
Not like I have to take out a loan. If it doesn't work well, I'll get a Maze2

Thanks, and any other input welcome
