Mushkin Enhanced Pc3200 Issue (Hit the max or what????)

Guys,

I currently have (3) 512MB Mushkin Enhanced PC3200 sticks which gives me 1.5GB of ram, I just purchased another mushkin pc3200 enhanced 512 stick & installed it..........


Now it reads 1GB of ram, I take it out... it reads 1.5GB.



What the hell is happening here, I am cornfused??? LOL


It is the exact same product...same place I bought it from...Any help is greatly appreciated, & thanks!!!!

I just tried re-arranging the order of them, & as soon as I put the 4th stick in.....It will read 1GB of ram, take the 4th out & it reads 1.5GB.

The Gigabyte board I have can handle up to 4GB of ram...........I am still patiently confused awaiting my OC team assistance.

If the 4th slot is malfunctioning, would it be able to change the size like that?

It is almost like the two last slots will malfuction as soon as I put in the 4th.

Can you tell im watching the screen to change.................LOL
