well, I'm gonna overclock my SLOT A athlon 500, does anyone know where i can get a GFD? it's the last thing i need to find before i try my 1st overclock!

I'd try eBay. never had to look for one of these myself. Any of the specialty overclocking online stores should have them as well.

Thanks for info, but no need any more, i killed the CPU taking the plastic casing off! a friend is lending me his old 600MHZ athlon untill i upgrade for my birthday

Ooh... tough luck. :( That's tough man. Sure it was old, and sure it wasnt very fast, but hearing ::SNIZZAP!!!:: when you're daintily trying to pry a ROCK-HARD plastic case off an Athlon, it's quite unnerving.
