View Full Version : 35C temp for water cooling, i need help
Hello there, yes this water cooling is rather dissapointing for me....
Can anyone help plz?
I have water cooling and I have fitted it correctly, I know for certain…
But my temperature at is always a constant 35C/95F.
I have used. Aquarius thermaltake II cooling kit.
ShinEtsu thermal compound. (not too much sploged on, and not oo little compount, but just right amount put on CPU)
I have athlon 2600+ TB.
Where did I go wrong?
Look forward to hearing from you,
Best Regards,

What's your ambient air temp, you water temps, your processor speed and voltage? At what my Barton's running, the best I could hope for is a bit over 30°C since I'm pushing 100W of heat and the RBX gets a CW of approx 0.10 or so.

Those temps aren't bad, especially for the acquarius II.

An Aquarius thermaltake II cooling kit and complaining about temps that are 35c? First off the Aquarius thermaltake II kit is a junk kit, second that's as good a temp you gonna get with it.
Look here (http://overclockers.com/articles373/waterkit.asp) to see how it ranks. You'll be surprised.
I'll agree with BlueDiamond about the temps and that kit.
since the aquarius has such small tubing, flow is severely restricted
35C loaded or idle?
im assuming its idle, because its constant?
you'd be better off with a whole new WC kit, or just a thermalright hsf

Those temps dont seem that bad to me considering what set up you are running. Like was mentioned before what Voltage is your CPU running at? Some more system info would help us determine if there really is a problem or not :) .
ahh so its nominal performance...
my internal case temp it always 29C (two large vantec silent fans sucking the hot puff out)
my radiator however, is inside emmersed in that 29C. But obviosuly if i put the radiator outside the case it would be obstructed by walls, wires, u name it, and most of all it would look awful :-)
my voltages are as deafult. nothing is overclocked on my system, but thats another story..... cpu timing set to aggressive, memory timmings turbo.
i have the epox 8rda+
:p
i never used a forum before, its cool!
looking forward to your input,
