Can anyone tell me how to overclock my Geforce2 MX400??:)
on this thread (http://forums.overclockers.ws/vb/showthread.php?s=&threadid=10702) I gave some helpful links. Play around and only raise speeds by small increments and you'll be OK.

It's pretty simple to OC a GeForce2 GPU. Just go to http://www.tweakfiles.com/video/nvmax.html and download NvMax, install it, then you'll be able to increase your GPU and memory speeds 1 MHz at a time until you reach a good performance/stability equilibrium.
don't bother overclocking the core. doesn't get you much apart from instability. rather concentrate on oc'ing the memory, cos that's where you'll get real fps gains.
using nvmax, i got mine as high as 220mhz stably, but my picture had artifacts there. the highest without artifacts is 195-200mhz.

use coolbits or nvmax and bump those frequencies a bit at a time, stick a good hsf and ramsinks on there and youll be fine, the oem hsf more than likely bites, i have my gf2mx smokin' check the sig, dang xp sucks the life outa it though

I'm using Riva Tuner. Got my 400 running at 220/200 very stable. Plus it allows you to perform other reg tweeks from a great interface. Force 4x and antiailasing and so on. If I find the link I will post it.

geez, i must say once again that SUMA gave me a great video card. With the stock puny aluminum heatsink and fan on the core and no ramsinks, it'll run stable at core=220/mem=220 (ran 3DMark2000 three times in a row to test stability), but I usually run it at 210/210 to keep it on the safe side. It is an original GF2MX with 32MB SDR, default core @ 175, default mem @ 166. I can't imagine how high it might go with a Blorb and high-quality ramsinks and a fan or two in my case  I must say that overclocking is the best thing that I have done to my computer ever, better than adding more RAM and a new hard drive, because you can really feel the difference.

I havce a generic original MX and my overclock is in my sig. I can run 250/220 but i get bad banding (gpu too high) and artifacts (ram too high).
