I am in the process of finsihing up my new system and I have a few software questions.
I want to know what programs/utilities are very important to get loaded on this virgin Hard drive.
I want to keep this system at its peak perfromance, but I do not want some unnecessary program running in the background that kills system perfromance. I do not know, windows XP may have everything needed to keep the system running flawlessly.
It has just been my past experience after a few years I have to reformat my HD to get my sytem perfromance back up. I almost always end up with my registry corrupted also.
Obviously I will get Norton's antivirus protection, but what else is a necessity??
