Im looking to upgrade sdram memory on my old system and im seeing retail prices on PC100 is higher than PC133...

cant PC133 go backwards to PC100? wtf

Yeah, just get some PC133 and stick it in there. It will work.

Make sure if you buy sticks that you MB can handle. Some old MBs don't like high density sticks. Some don't like sizes larger than XXXmb.

i know the old mobo can take 256mb sticks, thing is I cant find cheap SDRAM :p people selling it used still sells it at retail price or higher. Its insane, Id be better off with generic ram from pricewatch but im in Canada

SDRAM is getting more expensive as time goes on. With the popularity of DDR these days they just aren't producing as much any more. When I was looking as Mac's a while back I noticed that SDRAM was running about $50 more than DDR/
