I have some viruses in my local settings folder in Documents and settings/"computername"/local settings.

When I go there, there is no such folder. Is it hidden somehow? Maybe by the virus? How can I find this folder, I need to delete the virus from there.

that folder usually goes by user. do you have multiple user accounts?

You can also delete the temporary internet files (through internet properties) that will clear out some files.

Why do you need to delete these manually? your AV should delete/clean or quartiene them for you.
