DVD X Copy Platinum and DVD play problem

I have installed DVD X Copy Platinum and successfully backed up several of my DVDs. However, with DVD X Copy Platinum installed on my C partition I get some sort of copywrite error when I try to play the original DVD movie. I can play the copied version of the movie. I get the same error when I load DVD X Xopy on a totally seperate HDD. When I uninstall DVD X Copy the original movie plays fine??!! The problem seems to have something to do with DVD X Copy

Any suggestions?

get rid of it and use DVDShrink instead.

I have DVDShrink - havent used it yet. I would like to know why I am having this prob though.
