I need help with cleanmgr.exe

I can't use disk clean up any longer. When I select it, it just hangs. Task manager show it as using 100% of the CPU processing power.

Even if I close the program when it hangs it still uses a 100% of my cpu. I actully have to turn off cleanmgr.exe in the tskmanager in order to get my computer to run properly again.

Is there a way to fix this? what should I do?
