Hello overclockers......nice forum!

I have an Athlon T-Bird 900 currently running stable at 1000 on an Abit KT7A mainboard. I unlocked the chip with a pencil, and I have only adjusted the CPU operating speed in increments of 50 MHz which is offered by the BIOS. However, I have the option of setting all of the operating paramaters manually.

Such as:
MULTIPLIER FACTOR
CPU FSB/PCI CLOCK
CPU FSB PLUS (MHz)
SPEED ERROR HOLD

I have read my mainboard manual; however, it does not give adequate information about each setting.

My question is: Where can I find information that will explain the how's and why's of each of these settings (explained in idiot-speak). Any information will be greatly appreciated..thanks in advance.....mjp

This site will probably help you.

...the site didn't exactly address my issues (that I could find) , but it definately had some good information concerning RAM latency which has helped with system stability and RAM benchmarking. thanks...mjp
