Through my school I can get windows 2003 server and all the other versions of it. I just installed it on my one computer and saw it has clustering options. I have a 1.7 XP that i rarely use. If I installed 2003 server and made it a cluster node would it be useful at all to me? I don't run very many server softwares besides IIS. thanks

what would you want a cluster for, I mean do you have any use for it? I havent played around with windows clusters, i've toyed with it in linux. I got a copy of 2k3 I cant say I was impressed, my sound card gave me hell and my antivirus software wouldn't run on it. Then again for my computing purposes 2k3 is pointless I don't run any of my servers in windows, i use linux for all that stuff. But check out google im sure they have some good articles on 2k3 clustering
