Does Norton Ghost support external drives?

Since they're connected via usb or firewire, not sure if Ghost would detect them. I'm sure this is a simple answer, I just don't know it :). Thanks.
 
yes it does, when you are setting up the image you can go to advanced and select external USB/firewire drives... at least on 2003-2004.. not sure about previous releases.
 
You might google for "USB boot disk", there's a generic one out there somewhere which can detect most USB hardware and enable an external drive connected to it from DOS.
