Help, Major Pop Ups

i keep getting pop ups after pop ups, when i goto any site, i even have a pop up blocker, I ran spy bot but that dident fix it, I really do not know what to do. sum1 help

What browser do u use? I have Myie and it blocks pop ups very well. U need to get the latest Myie to get the most effective blocks. If u want to use ur pop up blocker , is it updated? If u have a software firewall maybe u can narrow down to which ip adresses r getting in, then u can block them.

one thing that you might find usefull, is upgrading your ver of xp to service pack 2, it adds a nice pop-up blocker to your new and improved ver of IE, its not as good as the one in longhorn that i tested but its deffinately better than all the pop-up blocker stuff out there that is full of spyware or that takes up more space on your bar like the google toolbar, look online or at www.suprnova.org (torrent) for windows xp service pack 2 beta

Check out the google toolbar for IE. You can block popups that way. Or switch over to FireFox, which I actually prefer over IE. Firefox has built in popup blocking.

But if you are getting ads from all sites no matter where, I think you have adware installed. Look into an application called "adaware". It's free and very useful at catching all the bad software out there that could be infecting your computer with popups.
