the clicking sound

I don't know what's wrong, when my comp on for about 30 or 40 minutes, i heard a clicking noise, I think it might be from the harddrive but not sure, after that it started to get freeze, my arrow still working but everything else just freeze for about a minute or so then normal then freeze again. any idea what's going on?
