I've just been looking for T-Bird Prices in a site, and i found as a title for the T-Bird : AMD THUNDERBIRD 1400MHZ 266. I'm wondering what this 266 really means. Does it need DDR or SDRam wil work it out ? Does it work with a MSI K7T Turbo - R ?
Help !!!

266 means 2 x 133 fsb so you will be fine.

the 266 mhz is merely the bus speed of your cpu only. as long as your motherboard supports a 266 mhz bus (some only support 200 mhz) then you should be fine

The 266 refers to the internal speed of the CPU which is a double pumped FSB (2 x133) likewise the 200 refers to the same and is also double pumped internaly (2 x 100)
The Tbird 1400 will work perfectly fine on a Sdram mobo
