Shouldnt lowering my screen resolution give me higher 3dmark scores?
I ran 3dmark 2001 and these were my results
1024x768@16bit Noaa 1352
800x600@16bit Noaa 1367
640x480@16bit Noaa 1378

I know these scores are pretty crappy but at least i broke 1000.
My old Quantum3d Raven(3dfx banshee) couldnt do that.
My system is 800 Duron with Hercules Prophet 4000xt(kyro i).

My question is, is it normal for these scores to be so close to each other?

your right the best i can do in 3dmark comes from 640x480 in 16 bit with double buffer. i dont think they should be that close i can get a couple of thousand points difference in 3dmark 2000 between default and 640x480 16 bit so i dont think your card is optimized.im not really farmilliar with the new prophet 4 but im sure there will be some tweaks for the card,or maybe your card or ram is not configured properly in your bios
