for how long should i let memtest running?

From what I've read- Memtest isn't always reliable. Do to this I ran Windows Memory Diagnostics This will also keep running until you stop it, but for me, Memtest showed no errors, while WMD did starting with pass 3. I started it before going to bed & let it run all night.
