P166MMX @ 300MHz (2.5x120) (My Most impressive OC!) with 3.4V

This chip is a little screamer now! hehe

I still want another 33MHz out of the chip for a 100% overclock!

I've tried everything, anyone got any pointers? The multiplier is locked but I got PC133 CL2 ram so I want to try higher but the book doesnt say for anything higher. I heard that the P5A can do 125MHz and 133MHz, is that true?

I'm using ASUS P5A.

Ouch 3.4V? What is default on the core of that CPU. Its a nice overclock though

Old CPUs like my P-90 seem to run at much higher voltages than the newer ones. The P-90 has a standard voltage of 3.4 volts.

Standard Vcore is 2.8v... thats certainly quite some overclock!! I got my 166MMX to 266 once @ 2.9v... but I didn't have a mobo good enough to try higher at the time.

Well done! :)
