Overclock a Vodoo 3000? what is the highest speed reached ?
. Oh and I added a 60mm fan to the heatsink which also allows me to play games on resolutions higher than what I could b4 which was 1024 by 768 now it works in 1200 by 1600 not that I actually play in that res but I can if I wanted :)
The default core is 166 mhz
I reached 196mhz with a 10 fps jump at 1024 by 768 resolution playing quake with everything on high setting
hehe got ****ey and went for 200mhz but quake would lock up :(
well I squesed a bit more out of that $230.00 Vodoo 3000 AGP/TVout any 1 else achieve close to these results ?
oh the test system was AMD 900mhz Tbrid, 256mb pc 133, ata 40GB ATA 100 Maxtor drive
at 166 mhz 55.4
at 196 mhz 65.3
