View Full Version : What's with the 41.1 point proteins?

I've got two and they're taking forever relative to their points. I can understand the 160 pointers taking a long time but these, I just don't understand. This computer which runs at 2.48ghz is getting 10:36 frame times and that just doesn't sound right. The log says it's using SSE but it doesn't seem like it. Anybody else having this problem with these proteins? BTW, both are p1006_ppg10_pfold.

Same here, I got one this morning, 30 minutes a frame! uhg!

i had a couple of them earlier...they are a pain in the arse...not enough points for something that takes so long per frame to complete.

Ok, I was just making sure it was normal. Thanks guys.

I got these when they were in Beta testing, they are kinda a pain but it's really not THAT far off in PPW like a Double Gromac on a NON SSE2 machine is.

Strange....I never received some double gromacs on my AMD.....but a lot on my intel.

on my dual one of the clients has down loaded core 79 but its never done anything with it. It was when it decided to geta new core 78... the other install has only got 78 in the folder.
does the console check for an sse2 complient procesor when requesting work?

Ugh, and I thought 13 pointers sucked....
The 160 and 45 pointers do deserve more points though, just because they're so huge, and it puts a drain on the best systems....

yes it does indeed drain a system!
