It seems my old thread was deleted or something? Anyway I finaly got off my lazy arse and finished my project. Here are some pics.

Dont mind the old tv, its for my xbox. My parents wont let me haul our hdtv into that room, and my network cable wont reach the room its in.

There was a database problem last night... so its possible!

Hmm, I like it. Did you cut a hole in the motherboard tray for the back one? Seems like a great idea, how is the noise levels? :D

The noise is low without my headphones on, and with them its barely audible. The hole is right above the tray, thats how I determined where to put it. I hear no fan whine from my case, only a whoosh, because I probably have over 200cfm passing through it.

What has it done for temps?

Are both intakes? How many other fans do you have?

/end of questions.

Looks pretty cool - not my style, but very cool non the less.

looks great and i bet it sounds great too. but how is airflow designed? are they in or out? what else do you have?

They blow in, decreased my temps by about 5c. I have a 120mm fan(80cfm) blowing out the back, and dual psu fans. I have 2 20cfm intakes in the front, and a 20cfm fan on an sk-7 in it. They blow out at an angle, so the end up blowing thing on the cpu/nb area.

hmm... it looks like they're pushing air in the case downwards?

I see you got a case temp (i assume ambient) improvement, so no worries, but if you were to do it all over would you orient / set the blowers somewhere else to encourage traditional front to back or bottom to top airflow?

Well I just finished another addition. I made a duct from both of hte blowers to my heatsink, so no air can escape. Im sitting 10c above ambient right now, so I think it worked pretty well. Ill get pics up later.

Thats the first thing I though also when I seen the pics...lol...

That would be a cool paint mod...paint the front to look like mickey and leave the fans black for the ears...

Nice mod...and why duct both...would be better to let that one cool the back of the MB...

Pure genious. THAT would be a mod to remember! I have an old steel case I might just do that on... if i can find those heavy duty ones like my elementary school had... :)
