MSI GeForce2 Pro Problems!!!

hey...im having some trouble with my new MSI StarForce GeForce2 Pro video card (32mb)...games like Carmegeddon and Max Payne work perfectly fine, but microsoft pinball is horrible for some reason. the graphics freeze up a lot and i dont know what the problem is...if anybody knows what to do, please help me. Thanks!

...by the way my system is a 1.4 T-bird with 256 ddr ram.

Flojo...are you using the original drivers that came with the card? Have you attempted to switch back to "Standard VGA" then reload the drivers? Sometimes that does the trick.

You could also try one of the other numerous Detonator driver revisions...or...be sure to use one that is Windows certified.

What version of Direct X are you using?

I have heard that some of the early versions of the MSI GF2 Pro cards had bad 2D. It seems, though, that they have fixed this problem with later revisions. At least mine doesn't have a problem! That might account for MS Pinball looking so bad. Try the latest nVidia reference drivers, and install DX 8 if you haven't already. If that doesn't work, call MSI and see if they can help. Maybe your 2d filters are just bad? If so they can just ship you a new card.
