When i go up to 240FSB on my 3.0c it would boot into windows fine on 1.6 volts. When i run prime it would not crash but just stuck in test 1. It always crashes in 3dmark 2003 during test 3 with the trolls. Now the prime load temperature is 51-55c at 230fsb with 1.575 volts. I been thinking about buying a SP-94 with TT smart fan II or panaflow u1A but this would be useless if my cpu limit is reached. New cpu or new heatsink? Any ideas guys? My cpu is a lapped SL6WK 12 cap D1 with July mfg date.

Your haven't mention anything about your ram. Should try and set the divider to 5:4 and spd(for now) to eliminate the ram is the culprit. Most newer ram such as ch-5 may have stability problem reach high speed with lower vdimm. So lower your ram down and try for your max cpu first, then adjust your ram speed accordingly. Good luck.

Anything over 230 and i have to use 5:4 dividers. I heard 5:4 dividers didn't work well with ch5 and abit boards, i'm not sure if this applies to asus too?

Have a read of this thread -3.0C SL6WK Malay Week 49 2003 OC Issue - Help Please
I have tried for a week to get my "WU" higher than 244mhz fsb,but to no avail.Your temps look similar to mine.56deg 100% load zalman cooler.Don't foget your asus reads temps about 8degrees low as welll.I've just tried the vcore mod, stabilized those fluctuating voltages but didn't help me go higher.
A better cooler will knock a few more degrees off but I suspect you have reached the limit of your cpu.Try 5:4 244fsb 1.575-1.6v vcore.
good luck
