NF7 and the APIC

My freind just got ABIT NF7
I heared that it has probs with the fsb (limited) cause of the apic
so my questions:
HOW does the apic influes of the fsb (what is the difference between enabling and desabling it)
If he should disable to go up with the fsb must he before installing XPpro enable the APIC?
He got also a couple of RAM pc 4300 500Mhz Hynix original 2*256
will they be utile and what is the highest fsb to attempt with a 2500+ barton locked at 11

I would have beh bus speed far past 500mhz with that stuff

^^ It dosnt work well at all anymore. I wouldnt disable it

I'd try the L12 mod. That is the only thing available to combat low FSB issues
