...Or do I have to buy a PS2 version or something? Not sure if this the right forum but its the closest I could think off. Thanks.

I had a USB keyboard that worked in USB mode on other computer but when i put it on my rig, NF7-S mobo, it wouldnt work. I went and bought a PS2 adapter and tried it and it still didnt work so i guess not all USB keyboards work even with adapters.
Yes, any USB keyboard will work with PS/2 with an adapter. Infact, they all (or at least most) come with an adapter themselves. I have 4 adapters laying around because of that...i always use my keyboards and mice on USB anyways

Do you mean an adapter to a USB plug or from a USB to the PS2 controller plug? For example I have a Cooler Master USB keyboard I want to use.
I mean with a USB to PS/2 adapter

So a normal USB one won't go in the usb plugs on the ps2?

I think some people are thinking about the PS/2 port.
Whereas you are talking about a Playstation 2. I am quite certain that any standard non/wireless Keyboard should work in the PS2's usb port.
