GF2 Ultra w/ 12.90 no tweaking options

For some reaon whenever I install the 12.90 drivers all the tabs that allow you to change setings like anti alasing and what not are no longer there. I ran coolbits and that did not do anything. How do I tweak these setings? Any help is apreciated!

This is a long shot but what is your DDR memory voltage set at? 2.8v works ok for me but when I use 2.9v I lose all the video settings options and I get locked into VGA mode. I know DDR voltage and video seem unrelated but that's what happens on my 8K7A. I know others run at 2.9v without problems but I thought I'd mention it just in case.

I have the same problem with win98se, but not with windows 2000 (interesting, hmmm)...

I just use NVmax since 98se is my backup... decided it was more of a bother to figure out why then to just use another program to get the same results.

well there are 2 different sets of drivers the beta and the WHQL micrsoft certified i think the only ones that works are the WHQL ones- cause i use them and te options are there also the coolbits option works

Ok thanks for all the help guys!! I downloaded the drivers off of pinkys site (thanks for the quick and easy ftp download!!!!!! Really worked well!) and I think that may be why we both have the problem. Your version of 12.90 for win98se must be the beta, and we both used them hehe!! Anyone know where I can get the WHQL version of 12.90 drivers for win98se? It would be a great help!! I checked Nvidias site but they ONLY have the newest ones, and those gave me 300 points LOWER in 3dmark 2k1!! I really want those tweaking options becuase I used to be able to really get perfomance gains by tweaking them!!

that would be a major help. I can only find the beta version of the 12.90's, and the only WHQL's I can find are the 12.41's and those are also, what do you know, the WORST performing ones!! The 12.90's got me the highest 3dmark2k1 score, but no tweaking options is a real drag. Hope you can help me out!! O and umm...

Just regular setings by righ clicking, setings, and then advanced. It usually has all the options I need to tweak but there are NO geforce 2 ultra tabs when I use the 12.90 drivers. All other versions have them though.

I have 1290s DL.

I will try them and see if I get the same results.

I will give you an update tonight. I have been busy preparing to go out of town for a couple of weeks.

BTW I am using Win98 SE
