i just installed three huge fans in my computer and my temperature is quite low (motherboard is always ambient temp, while cpu is usually 80 degrees F) so i decided i want to overclock. i have a 900 mhz thunderbird and epox 8kta3. i need to know when you need to increase the voltage to either the bus or the cpu when you are overclocking

thanks

while overclocking, you will reach a certain speed where the cou starts becoming unstable (you get blue screens, winodws protection errors etc). that is the point where you need to increase the core voltage a bit.

Remember to watch your temps while bringing up the voltage!

When you reach the point of BSOD, etc.. should you increase in small increments until the system boots or temps are to high?
Or, should you run at your stock speed at a higher voltage for a week or so, before going with a higher multipler, and FSB?
