Whats the deal with 3dmark?

Why is it so many people get so hung up over their 3dmark scores? It means absolutely nothing. And espically with the continuing driver fisaco over the past year or so I will not listen to anything Futuremark has to say or any results derived from it.

I will say its a good and easy to use stability tester for video card overclocking, but thats all I ever plan to use it for.

People like to score high points, people compete to get the best score for bragging rights, i don't bother... hehe..

its a want to know something, curiousity, then when you run it, you get addicted, kind of like drugs (no I'm not supporting the use of drugs, I'm just stating a fact).
