how do i find out which one i have?

also if you feel like answering another question, whats the pc #### stuff mean?, if not i'll just seach the forums

thanks for any help.

Stick it in and run SPD settings. If it's PC2100, the memory bus will operate at 133MHz; 166MHz if PC2700.

The number after "PC" indicates the theoretical memory bandwidth. So for PC2100 running under perfect conditions would have a maximum bandwidth of 2.1GB/s. However, due to physical constraints, you'll only achieve 90-96% of bandwidth under most circumstances.
