I think it sounds good too. Since its a second system you probably don't need amazing ram but Mushkin has good prices and is pretty good ram.

I just read in motherboard section , that the NF7-S board is still overclocking good.

I don't really like my NF7-S that much. It's a poor OC'er (refuses to boot over 224 FSB). I wish I'd gotten the DFI Ultra Infinity (which has been getting crazy OC's (like 295 FSB stable)).

Looks good to me, I love my 2500+. What about a graphics card? Using an old one?

From what I have been reading over the last few weeks the Abit and DFI are performing about the same. Although DFI is getting higher FSB speeds but they both are benchmarking about the same. They both have their problems, you just have to decide on which ones you want to deal with. I chose the Abit because I was new and it was suggested to me by many people. However in hindsight I should have gotten the DFI. The voltage problems are getting annoying but it is still a great board that is performing wel.

Cheers for the replies guys :-)

I have a Dfi lanparty board in my first machine, so i suppose i could swap about and see whats best.
Im gonna use a 9600xt in it for the minute, and maybe go for a 9800xt in the near future, they seem to be droppin a bit in price! or maybe even a 9800pro.

I was just checkin out prices for xp3200, didnt realise they had dropped so much in price £125 oem, would that be a better choice over the 2500-m? or would it not be as much fun? :-)
