What am i doing wrong i'm testing the same HDD you ahve here at work and i'm only getting 17512! It is a brand new MSI K-7 Master board. It is running win2k if that affects it...
I have a IWill KA266 -r board at home with 2 WD 20gig 7200rpm drives in it using raid 0 with a 32k strip and i didn't get nearly as good of a score as i should...What strip size should i use or am i doing something else wrong...i'm running WinME at home
(please don't flame the MOBO or the OS...that is what I got, sorry if it offends you)

did you partition it? I have 3 partitions one is 20 gig for game files, that is the test you see and 5gig for Windows, and 35 gigs for MP-3 and DVD files. 60 gig total.
