Hey guys,

I have an NF7-S with vdimm and vdd mods done, great cooling (SP-97 with a 92mm 120cfm fan, and 320cfm of intake/exhaust), bh-5 ram, the works :)

So i got my XP 1800+ from excaliberpc.com. its a DLT3C:JIUHB:0350VPMW. Its locked at 11.5 and the best stable fsb i can get out of it is 195mhz, which is like 2.25ghz

I'm very dissapointed with this... i was hoping to ba able to get 2.5 or above... thats with 2.0vcore btw

Is there anything i can do to improve this? I've tried everything i know :(

Well, maybe performing the L12 trick will help you get higher FSB

I agree w/ the Coolest. The L12 mod has worked wonders for many tbred users.

Well i have already done that but i think it might not have worked.. i did it by soldering the 2 points on the back of the motherboard together... i triple checked to make sure they were right, but the motherboard still defaults to 133mhz fsb... that means it hasnt worked right?

Maybe you should try the wire-trick way for the L12 mod instead ... seems like it would be easier and a lot less permanent (plus I thought the point was to actually connect the pins on the CPU itself ... not sure if soldering the underside of the motherboard would really be accomplishing the same thing).
