Strange PAT behavior

I tried the SR-Enh-A-D-D GAT setting today, and CTIAW reported it indeed as Partial PAT. Later I moved my sticks to slots 2 & 4 (from 1 & 3) and all of a sudden the SR-Enh-A-D-D reports as Full PAT. Also when 1 stick is at slot 2, it reports the same. How can I enable Partial PAT now? I think all I changed was to move the sticks to different slots, but maybe I did something else along the way which I'm unaware of. Anyhow, I'm baffled a bit, as I WANT to enable Partial PAT and not Full one. Anyone can help?

Edit: it's even stranger than that. Any setting except Auto (meaning Turbo, Street Racer and F1) enables Full PAT! Weird...
