Hello,
I'm trying to update my ATI Drivers to 4.4, but I keep getting an "Error Extracting Support Files: The File name, Directory name, or Volume Syntax is incorrect"
I've looked in my Task Manager and Ikernel isn't running in the background. I've tried everything I can think of, backing up with system restore, cleaning out the drivers, extracting the drivers from different directories, etc. Nothing seems to work. And now any video driver I try to go to (Omega or ATI any version) gives the same error.
My system is an AMD 2400+, ATI Radeon 9600 Pro 256mb, 512mb Samsung memory, Soundblaster Live 5.1, running Windows XP with service pack 1a.
Anyone have any idea what's going on?
Thanks in advance.
