I noticed that all the philips monitors at newegg have 5 star ratings, even the cheap(compared to others) 21" monitors, no other brands have reviews that good especially for the big monitors, i'm thinkin my next budget 19in monitor is gonna be a philips.
And to go along with their supposed great picture is that they tend to take up less room than other brands.

Anyone have a philips monitor here? If so let me know what you think, or anyone elses opinion on these would be appreciated.

I have a 201B4 and I love it.
I've had it for about 7 months now(from newegg) and the contrast is awsome compared to other monitors i have seen.

Everything works like a charm with no problems at all.

My last monitor was a Dell refurb, which was in fact a Philips(most Dells are either Philips or Sony) and it was great. I never had any problems with it. I wouldnt say they are the best but they definitely are a decent monitor.

Not sure whether its the same in the monitor world as it is in TV's but Philips make a hell of a lot of picture tubes for other manufactures. They make nice tubes but they arent made to last. Thats the only fault with Philips i'd say.
