View Full Version : Got some new fans!
I just got 2 24.4 cfm 60x60 mm Dynaeon fans. These things are great for tight places like behind motherboards. I included a pick of them allong with a delta just to give you an idea of how thin they are. These are the coolest fans I have ever seen.

Nice! Im surprised such thin fans can output a respectable 24cfm!
BTW that is a nice overclock Bender! Whats the easiest way to get higher voltages to my Duron? I have a 800@1000 with good cooling. I could easily hit 1100Mhz if I had the voltage.
(PS, I recommend changing your signature colour it canes my eyes reading your specs :) )
In order to get more voltage you must solder a thing or two to your motherboard. Durons like about 2.0v anything higher barely does a thing. I was at 2.05 for 1104 but had to got to 2.33 to get 1200.
About my sig; it looked great when I did it but Skip must have tweaked the colors. It looked good when I chose the color but now it is way blury.

Hi I really like ur overclock. I got an AMD K6-III 400 and w/o changing the voltage I can't get it over 415!! (Funny huh?)
Can u suggest something to me?

Ahhh, thats much better Bender! I can read your sig now :)
Yes, I think the colour was a dark grey before Skip has changed something.
Oh and The Coolest, Durons are very different to K6-2s. Durons can do a 100% overclocks while K6-2s are lucky to get 20% overclocks.
Bender, I have read up some of the voltage mods for the KT7 & KT7A boards and they kinda frighten me. Being able to change voltage in window kinda messes up my head. I might try it if I can get the parts, but to be honest I think its not worth it for an extra 100Mhz. Although saying that I would almost definately do it if it was my main pc.
Woops I didn't even bother to look at your system specs. I just assumed you had a duron or T-bird. Thts why I mensioned the voltage mod. Your board probably goes up to 3+ volts already so you don't have to worry about soldering. An air cooled peltier would be your best bet for a K6-2. Also removing the cap will help a little bit.
