hey guys, i just bought a few things on a whim and am now wondering if i am making a mistake. i got a 1.4 AHYJA and walked by a Thermaltake Volcano 5 and just picked it up. I had a volcano II on a 1ghz axia that worked fine. Will this Volcano 5 be alright for a 1.4? I will no longer be overclocking because I can not have a loud computer where I am and all the good HSFs are too vocal. I have a 90mm fan in front, another in back, and a large slot fan. please help me out.

thanks

P.S.-I know this should be in the cooling section but I need a good answer because this system has to be up by tonight. sorry to those who are offended.

The Vocano 5 is AMD Recommended and is good for Athlon 1.5Ghz+, maybe you can overclock just a little : )

yeah, thermaltake says it'll go 1.5+, but that's their idea. it's just such an inexpensive(12.99 at fry's) hsf to cool that well. i was wondering if anyone knew if their claims are a little ambitious. thanks for the reply!

The Volcano 5 is by far anything better than AMD ships with their processors. It will be fine for an un-overclocked 1.4 Tbird.
