My via never "got loud" running from day one to a year+. Did you mod yours? Any idea what is causing the noise?

BTW my via and mag3 are about even in noise level.

I have to mod my via, it makes an awful racket without it (note, don't buy 3M super adhesive instead of super glue).
Mag3 is pretty much silent, but it vibrates.

You may want to take a look at your impeller shaft. Remove it and do a visual inspection. If it has any cracks, you can do the crazy glue trick. If it is in good shape, then just removing it and replacing it might realign it and get rid of the noise.

If you're not already using it, you may also consider getting some type of lubricant for your cooling system. I'm running 20% ethelyne glycol anti-freeze which does a fine job of keeping the pump quiet.

The L30 is normally a very quiet, powerful and reliable pump and yours just may need a little maintenace to return it to its once-quite condition.

The Swiftech MCP600 is a really quiet pump, but it's price is pretty steep. :(
