I have a N2U400-A MB and bios version 1.0b, windows XP pro, PNY geforce fx 5900se AMD XP3200+ 430Wtruepower PS, 2 Kingston 2700 512Mb DDR ram chips

I can't get the chip to run reliably at xp3200. It only does so if I run the chip set at xp2600. If I set the chip at 3200, when I run any games at all they crash to the desktop. If I set the chip at 2600 all game run fine. I also get errors on my hard disk. At first I thought it was my video card. I had a geforce 4 ti-4200 8Xagp, so I bought a new card geforce fx 5900se 128mb ddr ram. That didn't fix the problem. Then I upgraded my power supply from a 300w to a truepower 430w PS. It also fits all the specs that required +3.3V @28.0A, +5V@36A, +12V@20A and it still does the same thing. I have 2 Kingston 2700 512Mb DDR ram sticks running a 266Mhz. 133Mhz in the BIOS x2. What should I have the settings in the bios be? Do you have any suggestions? I hate the fact that I can only run my chip at a slower speed.

Thanks for your help....

so you have ddr333 running at ddr266 set it to run at 333=166x2 see what happens

edit:sprry i was thinking 2600+tbred its your ram 3200+=400mhz
