I see lots of threads where people ask how to clean out their waterblocks that have corrosion and gunk buildup in them. I think people forget though that this corrosion makes its way throughout the system and into your heatercor/radiator also. A while ago I took apart my watercooling system, and now I'm reinstalling it into a new case with a new computer. I went up to Murray's auto parts store and bought a bottle of this Prestone Super Radiator Flush, it comes in a yellow bottle. Anyways, I poured it, full strength, not diluted, into my heatercore, and filled the core about 1/2 way full. I put my thumbs over the barbs and sloshed it around a bit for a few minutes, let it sit for a few minutes, and then shook it up some more. When I put the stuff in, it was clear, when it came out it was hot green . Anyways, after that, I flushed it out with alot of distilled water, until the water came out clean, and did not smell of chemicals at all. Anyways, I just thought I would recommend the stuff to everyone.

Only $2.99 for a 22 FL oz bottle. I got the super radiator flush, not the super radiator cleaner. I'm not sure what the difference was, other than the super radiator cleaner was a bigger bottle and was more expensive.

Hmm.. that sounds pretty neat. I'll pick up a bottle of this when my new WC stuff comes in. :) Yea you're right you gotta clean everything since gunk builds up everywhere.

Have to remember that when I need to flush my system, with 6 heater cores total cost of this sort of thing really matters.

You have 6 heatercores, all I can say is HOLY CRAP!!!
Yeah, I only used up about half of the bottle to flush my 1986 Chevette Heatercore twice, so for $2.99 a bottle, it works very well.

Well my original design only called for 3 but my pump is so strong I adapted my design to 6. Heres a link if you interested: http://www.nexusnetwork.org
