i was wrong to infer it is a good chance i should have said" it could be bh5 DEPENDING on when it was made".the earlier lvl1 and lvl2 was made from bh5. however, it could be the newer binned ch5 that runs pretty darn good also.i just saw it still available and about 60.00 bux less that new.

All Mushkin Black "Level I" PC-3200/PC-3500 never used Winbond BH-5 chips. Older Mushkin Black PC-3200/PC-3500 and Mushkin Black "Level II" PC-3200/PC-3500 did use Winbond BH-5 chips.

There is a differance between Mushkin Black PC-3200/PC-3500 and Mushkin Black "Level I" PC-3200/PC-3500.

Mushkin Black "Level I" PC-3200/PC-3500 has a good chance to contain either Winbond CH-5 chips or ProMOS/Mosul chips.

i dont know, cause i never opened one up, older or newer. i am basing my answer on a response from a fellow i read in one of the forums(this was a while back, cant remember exactly) stated he opened his mushkin pc3500 lvl1 up and to his pleasant surprise they were indeed bh5. now of course he could have been bs'ing however i took him at his word..
