Hey guys, I'm thinking about using this 112w peltier in a water chiller setup:

What would be a good way to cool it quetly and inexpensively? I just want it so it doesn't burn up, I don't need anything fancy.

uhmm...Try a swifech pin style heatsink and a nice 80cfm+ fan.

Won't be either, but otherwise it'll burn.

Wow, that's quite a lot of cooling.

What wattage peltier should I get if I want to cool it with like a stock AMD heatsink? It should still be able to cool the water around the heater core (or pump) pretty well.

Maybe an 80watter. But, cooling your water with it won't work.

How wouldn't it work?

I was thinking to have the radiator submerged in a sealed plastic container. At the top of the container, there would be a small cutout were the pelt makes contact with the water via a cold plate. The other side of the pelt would be on the outside of the plastic container, and would be cooled by a heatsink + fan.
