nf7-s mouse detection?

When i boot my comp sometimes it detects my mouse and sometimes it doesnt... if i restart it it detects it fine.

its a lazer mouse by microsuck...
im using the usb to mouse port adapter

any possitive help is appreciated.
 
I had that problem with both the mouse and keyboard on an NF7, however it was a refurb so I just figured that was the reason for it.
 
Last week when I set up a RAID 0 in my computer, it stopped booting past the SATA BIOS. Updating the board's BIOS to the latest one fixed it, though. Try that.
 
I have the same problem and just had to use the ps2 adapter in the end. I even flashed the bios to no avail.

In fact i posted my problem here a few weeks ago and never got a response.
 
Abit just released a new BIOS that supposedly fixes mouse problems. BIOS is D24 for NF7-S v2.0. It was not on the USA site the last time I checked, but it was on the Abit Taiwan website.
